Revesby daycare murder plot: Identity of target revealed
A Sydney father at the center of an alleged murder plot outside a children’s nursery allegedly fell out with his employers, an international crime syndicate based in Vietnam, over a dispute worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
reporter It could reveal that Huy Tran, who was to be killed with three allegedly hired guns, was at odds with a group calling themselves the Ultimate Crime Family, who believed he owed them $200,000.

Detectives had previously investigated whether Tran’s loyalty was questionable or whether his employers believed he was stealing drugs. Organized crime squad commander Detective Superintendent Peter Faux said he believed it was “highly likely” that an organization allegedly led by Sydney-born Daniel Rodney Badger was linked to the attempted assassination of Tran.
The syndicate allegedly ordered Tran killed while rounding up her young children and a note left on her body in a cold-blooded murder that was calculated to be broadcast live for crime bosses to watch.
Police said investigators had been tracking three possible killers for several weeks and it appeared they were ready to take action. Police moved quickly when it became clear they were going to do “something serious”, Fake told reporters earlier this month.
“The activities and behavior of these people were clear. They were driving a car, a stolen car, cloned license plates and balaclavas,” said False.

In dramatic scenes captured on camera on The River Road in Revesby, specialist police pulled over a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Mercedes during rush hour and attacked the two vehicles with bean bag rounds.
The police operation was so advanced that the canisters seized from the allegedly stolen car were emptied with gasoline and filled with water to prevent the cars from being burned after the incident. Investigators were also keeping tabs on up to 15 stolen vehicles when the trio allegedly began executing their plan.
