Rich tributes paid to martyrs to mark Kargil Vijay Divas

Rich tributes were paid to the heroes of the Kargil War in Kargil Vijay Divas in Dharwad on Saturday.
Northern Karnataka SAINIC Welfare Association members, volunteers of NCC volunteers, scouts and guides and students of various schools and colleges came together to pay tribute to martyrs.
Huballi-Dharwad Mayor Jyyi Patil screwed the Kargil Monument in front of the Deputy Commissioner in Dharwad.
NCC students, scouts and guides also participated in the program and observed a two -minute silence to pay tribute to martyrs.
During the Kargil War, 533 Indian soldiers were killed and 13 came from Karnataka.
Mayor Jyoti Patil, the sacrifice of brave soldiers to respect and remember that every citizen is a border duty, he said. These programs should motivate them to be ready to serve their young generation homeland.
Previously, a Tirante Yatra from Gandhi Chowk to the Kargil Monument was taken to the Kargil Monument, where hundreds of people from different life were based on the magic of rain.
In Kargil Vijay Divas, students from various schools and colleges, members of various organizations and political parties paid tribute to the martyrs by rallies praising their sacrifices.
