Rihanna at home as Beverly Hills mansion is hit by at least 10 rounds of gunfire, police say

A woman fired several shots at pop star Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home on Sunday and the bullet pierced the wall of the mansion, a law enforcement official told The Times.
Los Angeles police responded to a report of a shooting at 1:21 p.m. Sunday and a 30-year-old female suspect was taken into custody, a spokesman said.
The pop star was at home, the source said.
According to police, the suspect fired multiple shots from inside his vehicle towards the celebrity’s home in Beverly Hills. No injuries were reported in the incident, according to Police Sgt. Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Jonathan de Vera.
An LAPD radio report of the incident said “approximately 10 shots” were fired into the residence from a vehicle across from the gate of the property. According to the audio recording, the vehicle, a white Tesla, then fled southbound on Coldwater Canyon Drive.
While searching for Tesla, police relayed details over the radio: The suspect’s hair was in braids; she was wearing a cream-coloured blouse; The underside of his car was dirty. Officers soon spotted his vehicle and followed him to a mall parking lot in Sherman Oaks, where they arrested him about 30 minutes after the 911 call came in, according to radio communications reviewed by The Times.
The pop star reportedly lives in a colonial-style mansion in the Post Office district of Beverly Hills with her rapper partner ASAP Rocky. The couple has three young children, a daughter and two sons. It was not immediately clear if anyone else was in the home at the time of the shooting.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky had sons RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023. welcomed his daughter Rocki a little over five months ago.
