Rob and Michele Reiner’s death certificates were sealed by court order “initiated” by the Los Angeles Police Department.
On Monday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner released the following: a press release He stated that even though Michele and Rob’s cause of death reports had already been made public, they removed them.
“Although the cause and manner of death in these cases have been previously disclosed, the information is no longer available due to the court order. No other case information or records, including the Forensic Report, may be published or posted on the website until further notice,” the press release said. In the press release, it was stated that a “security embargo” was applied for now.

In the press release, it was stated that the Forensic Medicine unit received the court decision at 10.30 on December 24.
The Medical Examiner’s office noted that more information will be shared after the court order is lifted.

The couple’s son, Nick, was quickly identified as a person of interest in the investigation and was arrested hours later, at around 9.15pm local time the same day.

On December 16, authorities charged Nick with the double murder of his parents. He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder with a special circumstance of multiple murders.

“He also faces a special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon, such as a knife,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said at a news conference. “These charges carry a maximum penalty of life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.”
