Two men stabbed as armed intruders invade luxury Melbourne home

Two men were stabbed after a luxury home was invaded by armed intruders who continued to escape.
Police said just before midnight on Friday, “a number of men” entered a two-storey whitestone property on Stirling Close in Greenvale, 20km north of Melbourne’s CBD.
Two men, aged 48 and 35, who lived at the address during the occupation, suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed and taken to hospital.
“The criminals were wearing dark-coloured clothing and were believed to be in their early 20s,” police said.
“They fled the scene in a dark-coloured SUV and have not yet been located at this stage.”

The exact causes of the incident have not yet been determined and investigations are ongoing.
