Role of Company Secretaries evolving over time, says ICSI vice-president

Indian company secretaries (ICSI) CS Pawan G. Chandak said that new qualified company secretaries should learn to embrace opportunities and understand their responsibilities against the profession.
The ICSI, which operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs of the Union, carried out the gathering for the southern region of Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidalayam (SPMVV) campus on Thursday, July 03.
Speaking about the role of the company secretaries over time, Chandak announced the wage waiver plan presented to the members of the Indian Armed Forces, Paramilitar Forces, Agniveers, and family members of the martyrs who enrolled in the CS administrator program.
In addition, the National Institute of Securities Markets with the ICSI students presented with the ‘Corporate and Securities Markets Compliances’ announced a joint certificate course. In addition, ICSI guiding principles (IGPS), which encompasses environmental, social and governance factors and summarizes the best practices for responsible investment to strengthen corporate investors and service providers, shed light on the course.
Similarly, the ICSI ‘UAE Business Manager’ certificate course aims to equip professionals with knowledge and skills for roles in the United Arab Emirates. He also summarized the offers for students from Ladakh Jammu & Kashmir, who registered in the CSEET and CS executive program.
Uma Vennam, Vice President of SPMVV, who was the head guest, congratulated the newly launched members of ICSI and remembered the important responsibilities on his shoulders to ensure the growth, development and rise of the nation.
In order to increase the employability of CS students, the Institute announced that it is a two -year full -time MBA in cooperation with Gujarat Maritime University, which includes CS curriculum and maritime laws and regulatory practices. More than 263 young members participated in convocation. ICSI Council members A. Mohan Kumar, R. Venkataramana and Southern Indian Regional Council (SRC) President Ep Madhusuidhanan were present.
