The video, which was shared on social media on Sunday, December 21st and has now reached 14 million views, caught the surprise.
The video shows Miller and his wife entering his grandparents’ house saying, “I’m here to spend the night,” to which his grandmother adorably responds in a seemingly surprised tone: “It’s okay, you can spend the night if you want.”

Miller told Fox News Digital that he owed the surprise to his wife, who recently lost her grandfather and grandmother.
“He brought up the idea of doing this old family tradition that hadn’t happened before… I said, ‘Okay, I’m going to go ahead and do this,’ and we did it,” Miller said.

Miller was the first person inside and he said he began texting others to join him inside. When other cousin friends and family members of Miller’s began to arrive, her grandmother asked her, “Are we having Grandma and Grandpa’s Christmas?” he asked.
“It happened pretty quickly for him,” Miller said.

He said pizza making was always a staple of the event as a tribute to his grandmother’s Italian heritage.
Miller said his grandparents were “always there,” which taught him that “the greatest gift you can give someone is time.”
“[Our grandparents] Definitely [gave their time] “To all their children and grandchildren,” Miller said, explaining that they were constantly at birthday parties and sporting events. “I think this taught us that time is very valuable and how valuable it is. [we] “You should always get together as a family and always want to make time for your loved ones.”

When asked if her grandparents knew about their newfound internet fame, she said, “they don’t know what viral means.”
“We kind of put that into perspective,” Miller said. “This touches a lot of people’s hearts, and it brought up a lot of tears of joy, which made them feel really good.”
