Rowland’s News Corp meeting, and Hanson plagarises herself

Rowland attracts News Corp’s attention: Shortly after Michelle Rowland moved from the communications portfolio to the diminished role of attorney general following the election, News Corp wrote to her office asking for a meeting. Rowland duly complied, meeting with the Murdoch firm at the Commonwealth offices in Sydney on 16 July.
News Corp’s unnamed executives wanted to discuss artificial intelligence and copyright, a “properly functioning FOI regime”, whistleblower protection and libel law reform, according to documents obtained by Cochon through freedom of information.
