The general manager of the royal Albert Hall apologized to a 81 -year -old concert who stopped entering the auditorium because he was a Palestinian flag needle on his blazer.

After showing the double tickets and calling their bags in the foyer, two contractor personnel detected the collar needle and said that the concert would not be allowed because he was wearing it. One of them asked for a colleague who spoke in one of the gates of the auditorium so that he would not allow Cauthery.
The couple survived the foyer for 15 minutes before a supervisor arrived, invalidated the previous decision and said the couple could join the concert.
“We felt extremely upset with his behavior, not to be humiliated. I am an ancient class school child who is brought to believe that the British obey the law and live his life freely,” Cauthery said.
“I was just showing solidarity with the Palestinian people, and I expressed my support for what I believe in, and believed that the UN was a legitimate state. My wife and I see that Palestine should be recognized as a state and that our government is finally about to do it.

After contacting the Guardian, James Ainscough, General Manager of Royal Albert Hall, issued a double apology.
He said: “I wrote to apologize to Mr and Mrs. Cauthery, who was stopped by one of our contractors on Friday. It was not compatible with our policy and a mistake. The task manager who took a step to solve the situation was right to allow their next entrances.
“In addition to writing to apologize for a sad and humiliating experience, we have presented a complete repayment and invitation to return to the hall as our guests, so that the double Friday, unfortunately we can give a hot welcome.
“We talked to our contractor to ensure that a similar situation does not reappear.”
Cauthery said that Ainscough will donate a ticket fee returned to the medical aid for the Palestinians, which he said is “praised”.
In an apology letter for the couple, Ainscough said: “Music has a permanent power to bring people together and we want the hall to offer a warm welcome to everyone who comes to enjoy our concerts. It is very sad to think that your experience with us on Friday is very sad.
Cauthery said: ım I am very grateful for responding to Rah in this way. Of course we will continue to enjoy the concerts there. ”
