Royal Family LIVE: Expert gives verdict on ‘unpopular’ Meghan Markle’s return to UK | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has been criticized as “incomprehensible” for suggesting she and Prince Harry needed a “healing” period after leaving the Royal Family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from the Firm as employees of the royal family in early 2020 and, according to Meghan, had “no plans” for Harry to move to California to “recover” following the separation from his immediate family.
Meghan made the comments while speaking with Fortune editor-in-chief Alyson Shontell at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, DC this week.
He reflects on his “digging of the Royal Family” in an episode of the Daily Mail Palace Secrecy Royal publicist Richard Eden said on the podcast: “This couple is hard to understand. On the one hand, they need to heal after coming to Britain. On the other hand, they seem desperate to get back to Britain.”
Mr Eden’s remarks came after allegations by some senior politicians and courtiers of an alleged “conspiracy” to help the Sussexes warm their relations with the British and other royals so they could return to the UK.
