Driver arrested after chasing young boy riding bike in Washington

A driver who tried to hit a child riding a bicycle in a neighborhood in Cheney, USA, was arrested.

Police shared footage of the 56-year-old woman getting on the pavement, getting in front of the car and trying to hit the running child.

The driver continued to chase the boy on the pavement before entering the road again and driving away.

The boy was not injured in the incident, but his mother told BBC News partner CBS News that her son was shaken and scared.

“He thought for sure she was going to run him over,” Jennifer Taylor said.
