Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry ‘must convince Meghan’ or ‘door shuts’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry was recently called a “wizard” by his wife, and the Duke of Sussex may need all his charm to “convince” Meghan to “play games” to mend reported rifts with the Royal Family. Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took their children to the King’s home at Highgrove for the first time in four years.
After weeks of speculation about whether she would come to the UK, Meghan, 44, traveled to the UK with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, aged seven and five, to join Harry as he comes to the end of a week-long series of events promoting the Invictus Games. The trip was almost derailed due to growing anger over where Harry, 41, would be staying, with sources saying Harry was expecting a room at Buckingham Palace, but the King reportedly withdrew the offer due to the Duke not giving enough notice.
The meeting with King Charles appeared to indicate a thaw in relations between the couple and the Firm, but a source said: Heat World Now that some normalcy has been restored to relations, the King will want to “see progress” rather than “a new cycle of disagreements and misunderstandings”. They told the site: “He put his foot down and told Harry they had to play by their own rules or the door would be closed on the future. The Highgrove summit was an opportunity that could not be wasted. Harry knows there has to be a different approach if they are to make progress. He has spent a lot of time convincing Meghan of what they need.” If they want to be readmitted to the family, they can play the game. This is their last chance.”
