RTC Special Buses For Inter Exams
Hyderabad: With intermediate exams starting on Wednesday, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has made commuting easier for students by deploying additional 90 buses. In addition to 1,140 trips, 90 more buses suitable for travel times were put into service so that students can reach the exam halls on time.
RTC regional director Sudha Parimala said that besides additional bus service for Intermediate exams, help desk counters have been arranged at important bus points for students’ facility. “Students need to reach the center before 9 am to appear for the exam and from 12 noon onwards, these services return for the return journey,” he added.
On Tuesday, transport minister Ponnam Prabhakar directed the RTC management to make necessary arrangements for private buses during the Intermediate exams.
