Russia, after Western Palestinian state recognition move, says it still backs a two-state solution
Moscow (Reuters) -Russia still believes that a two -state solution is the only way to solve the conflict in the Middle East.
England, Canada, Australia and Portugal recognized the Palestinian state with a movement from the disappointment of the Gaza War on Sunday and aimed to encourage a two -state solution by giving an angry response from Israel.
“We are adhering to the basic decisions of the UN Security Council, and on the basis of a two-state approach, we are adhered to the international position on the possibility of solving the Palestinian-Israeli problem,” Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said to journalists. He said.
