Eurovision presenter Angela Scanlon has mocked UK contestant Look Mum No Computer’s song for containing more German lyrics than the German entry.

Speaking on the BBC during Thursday night’s semi-final, the Strictly star, 42, took on presenting duties alongside Rylan Clark, 37, and introduced the synth-pop band whose song Eins, Zwei, Drei has plenty of German lyrics.

Angela said: ‘FYI this one has more German words than the German entry’, while Rylan, referring to the 1967 contestant, said: ‘Well, it’s different from Sandie Shaw!’

This year, Sarah Engels represents Germany with an anthem of empowerment titled Fire.

While Angela and Rylan enjoyed the track, some viewers were outraged at the song’s inclusion, branding it “woke and leftist”.

Sam became known for creating his own synthesizers, circuit-twisting instruments, and performing quirky, experimental tracks.

“I’m a musician and about two and a half years ago I decided to try a different venture and started putting out videos with the machines I built for tour while I was in the band, and I didn’t expect anyone to really care about it because it was just weird stuff I made at home,” he told TNT Magazine.
