Trump jokes kids could sell his autographs for $25,000 on eBay

President Donald Trump couldn’t help but turn a fun moment into a roast and a sales pitch all at once.

The president messed up Monday with a group of children painting at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Trump joked that kids could turn his signature into a side hustle and said he could sign for them.

“Then you can sell them on eBay tonight for $25,000,” Trump joked, prompting laughter from the crowd.

But the lead comedian isn’t done yet. The president rarely misses an opportunity to outshine his predecessor.

“Biden would use auto-opening,” Trump said. “He couldn’t sign his name, so they were following him with this big machine. Do you know what his name is? Automatic on!”

Biden’s blush wasn’t the only viral moment. At one point, a young boy walked up behind Trump as he sat at the table and said: “Donald Trump, you are the best president!”

To which the President responded: “Thank you, honey. I agree.”

The theme of this year’s Easter Egg Roll was “spirit of patriotism.” The South Lawn was filled with kid-friendly fun, from the traditional egg roll to hands-on stations like military card writing, space-themed activities, egg decorating and even mini golf.

According to the First Lady’s Office, the purpose of the event was to bring families together to celebrate Easter while highlighting the values ​​of freedom and tradition that are central to American history.

There was more fun to be had, including the AI ​​Creation Station, bouquet making, flight lab, sensory-friendly egg hunt and live chickens.

America250 hosted an immersive experience celebrating America’s historic monuments through the “Voyage of the Star George” event.

Some of the president’s children were also seen at the Egg Roll, including son Eric Trump and his wife, Laura Trump, as well as daughter Tiffany and her husband, Michael Boulos.
