Justin Timberlake stumbles through sobriety tests in newly released DWI bodycam footage he fought to keep secret

Justin Timberlake was seen passing sobriety tests in newly released footage from his June 2024 DWI arrest in New York state.

The 45-year-old singer, who later accepted a plea deal to ‘move on’ from an arrest in the Hamptons while on tour, was seen subjected to a series of tests after being pulled over by Sag Harbor police.

At the beginning of the clip, the Cry Me A River shooter was standing in the back of his vehicle while communicating with one of the police officers.

He was being given instructions on preparation for the sobriety eye test, also known as the Horizontal Gaze Eye Tremor (HGN) test.

During the test, Timberlake, who has fought to keep DWI body camera footage out of the public eye, could be seen swaying slightly as he stood in front of the police officer telling the star to also do the walking and turning test.

At one point, when the officer explained that the musical artist could use skid marks on the road to guide him, Timberlake asked, ‘Do you want this or that?’ he asked.

The singer appeared to be subjected to a series of sobriety tests after being stopped by Sag Harbor police.

‘It’ll be someone you prefer, okay?’ the officer replied and the star added: ‘Whatever you want, mate.’

The officer briefly walked away as he stood near Timberlake, who was in the middle of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour at the time.

The officer simply replied ‘Yes’. He then walked up to the police vehicle and opened the back door, revealing the singer sitting in handcuffs.

He asked Timberlake if he could take his friend’s car, and the musical artist nodded silently.

When officers approached the friend again, the friend asked to speak to him, but they denied the request.

He continued, ‘Can you please do me a favor? ‘Cause you love Bye Bye Bye or you love Sexyback, do me a favor!’

They allowed the woman to walk to the window (which the officers lowered) so she could ask the singer if he wanted his phone, which the police would then give to him upon his release.

“This is so crazy,” he told Timberlake, before asking the singer what he wanted him to do.
