Hitman leaves after shooting man outside pub on Hogmanay | News

CCTV footage shows the moment a paid assassin gunned down a man outside a bar on Hogmanay.

Grant Hunter, 34, shot Marc Webley, 38, outside the Anchor Inn in Granton, Edinburgh, just before midnight on December 31, 2023.

Hunter is seen parking a stolen Hyundai Tucson car outside the bar, getting out of the vehicle and shooting at Webley and another man named Stuart Pearson, 39. The court heard Webley made sure he pulled down his balaclava so he would know his identity.

Hunter pleaded guilty to the murder of Webley and the attempted murder of Pearson. He will serve at least 26 years in prison for this crime but has been told he will never be released.
