Russian army chaos as Ukraine wipes out 9,000 Putin troops in one month | World | News

The Ukrainian army continues to inflict heavy losses on Russian forces trying to capture Pokrovsk. Vladimir Putin’s army has been trying to capture the eastern city for the past 21 months as it plans to make a major advance before winter.

The besieged city is known as the “gateway to Donetsk” and is an important logistics and transportation hub on the Ukrainian army’s eastern front. His downfall would be a bitter pill to swallow for Kiev, which has rushed in special forces to strengthen its defences. But it looks increasingly likely that the Kremlin army will capture its first major city since the fall of Bakhmut.

Despite the difficult situation, Zelensky’s troops continue to pay very high prices for every square centimeter of captured territory.

Ukraine’s lethal drone units have turned the city’s surroundings into a coordinated killing zone. UAVs can detect Russian soldiers hiding under rubble, making nowhere safe in the besieged city.

Specialist drone unit Birds of Madya claims to have killed 8,005 Russian soldiers in October alone.

A video clip shared on social media channels shows the bodies of 39 Russians lying dead in the rubble of the city, as well as the remains of six motorcycles and an all-terrain vehicle.

GUR special forces added another 1,500 Russian casualties in a month by using fiber optic drones to overcome electronic warfare. In addition, 39 artillery systems, 18 air defense elements, 20 tanks and 532 vehicles were destroyed.

Defense analysts are consistently pessimistic about Ukraine’s chances of retaining the city, while the army’s commander-in-chief, Oleksander Syrskyi, insists the fighting is far from over.

Researchers at the Institute for the Study of War say it’s only a matter of time before the inevitable happens.

However, it is stated that Russian forces have difficulty focusing on a single and decisive target in the direction of Pokrovsk.

Instead, he attacks both towns while simultaneously attempting to close the siege of the larger Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad region.
