Russian ‘state of emergency’ as Black Sea Fleet comes under massive Ukraine drone attack | World | News

After starting a destructive drone attack on the base of Ukraine’s Black Sea fleet, Russian officials in Novorosssoysk declared an emergency. The wild attack occurred simultaneously from water and air and caused significant damage.

Russia’s Black Sea fleet was destroyed by Ukraine and forced to move from Sevastopol in Crimea to Novorossiysk Port. DRONS hit an office complex of the Hazar Pipeline Consortium, a Russian-winner oil project supported by large multinational companies. The company said that two of the employees were injured and taken to hospital after the attack.

A few other people who were not employed by the company were “seriously injured and added in a statement.

Emergency officials reported two deaths and seven injuries, including one child.

The video images of the attack were shared on social media channels, one of them comes from a hotel building and a nearby housing block. Another shows something like a diver approaching the harbor before being fired and explosion.

Krasnodar Krai Region Governor Venamin Kondratyev confirmed the attack on a task channel.

“Novorossiysk was subjected to a terrible attack by the Kiiv regime in the afternoon,” he wrote. “Drones hit the city center in the middle of the day.”

Authorized, five housing buildings and the coastal hotel was damaged, he added.

More video images showed overlapping students in burning parking and school corridors.

In the early hours of Wednesday, drone warnings were given in the Krasnodar region where Novorossiysk was located.

The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet commented on the attack, and only 16 drones have fallen on the Black Sea.

The Ukrainian army has accelerated its attacks on Novorossiysk in recent weeks and hit a ship of the Russian Black Sea fleet on September 11th.
