Former “Saturday Night Live” star Bowen Yang agreed with podcast host Matt Rogers that supporting Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, and her Senate campaign would be a “waste of money.”

The couple’s “Las Culture Experts” On the podcast Wednesday, Rogers began a 60-second segment in which he would “blast, rail, rave” about cultural issues and “hope it will change hearts and minds.” During his minute, he criticized Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., which led him to voice what he sees as self-centered politicians, including Crockett.

“Anytime a politician talks too openly about himself, I’m already done,” Rogers said. “And don’t waste your money sending it to Jasmine Crockett. Don’t.”

“I have to agree,” Yang replied.

“Don’t. Don’t. You’ll waste your money. Take it from someone who sent tons of money to Sara Gideon in Maine. Just don’t. Don’t waste your money. Don’t,” Rogers added.

“It’s hard enough to get to,” Yang said.

Rogers clarified that he had nothing against Crockett but said he was too “well-defined” a politician to win a statewide or national election.

“He’s not going to win a Senate seat in Texas, folks,” Rogers said. “Like, if Beto O’Rourke couldn’t do it, Jasmine Crockett won’t do it either.”

During the podcast, the two also discussed their past support for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election, which Yang said he regretted.

“This is another thing I regret about being a Hillary stan in the early days of ‘Las Culturistas,'” Yang said.

“I don’t have any regrets because I think we tried really hard to win,” Rogers said.

“I know. But I feel so stupid,” Yang said.

Rogers also expressed disappointment with Newsom, saying the California governor has no chance of winning the presidential election.

“The number one thing Gavin Newsom can do right now is text Savannah Guthrie and reach out to whoever just did the voice surgery. He just had polyp surgery. You’re going to have to stay quiet for about 6 weeks afterward. But don’t worry, you can still tweet. You can still dunk on Trump, which apparently people still think he’s going to win,” Rogers said.
