Sabrina Carpenter condemns Trump admin for ICE ‘Juno’ video

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter criticized the Trump administration on Tuesday for using the 2024 hit song “Juno“as a soundtrack TikTok video It shows Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents detaining people during raids.

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson responded to Carpenter’s criticism in a statement to CNBC.
“Here’s a Short and Sweet message to Sabrina Carpenter: We will not apologize for deporting dangerous illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country,” Jackson said.
“Anyone defending these sick monsters must be stupid or slow?” he said.
“Short and Sweet” is Carpenter’s 2024 album that brought him to worldwide fame. This album includes “Juno”.

Carpenter is the latest in a growing number of artists speaking out against President Donald Trump or his administration for using their music without permission or as a political message.
Beyoncé, Neil Young, ABBA, Celine Dion and Olivia Rodrigo are among the artists who have previously demanded that Trump stop using their songs at rallies or social media videos.
Many of these artists sent cease-and-desist letters or threatened legal action.
