Sabu Jacob was a BJP agent all along, alleges CPI(M)

Sabu M. Jacob’s entry into the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) made it clear to everyone that he was an agent of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Communist Party of India (Marxist) from the beginning. [CPI(M)] Ernakulam district secretary S. Sathish said.

In a statement issued here, he challenged the Congress, which he claimed was running the Vadavucode-Puthencruz panchayat with the support of Twenty20, to clarify its position in the wake of the latest development.

Mr Sathish said the local body elections had exposed Twenty20. Instead of achieving great gains in the district as they claimed, they experienced a serious regression. He said people realize the lack of development wherever they come to power.

Mr. Sathish said that Twenty20’s decision to join the BJP, which has attacked the Christian community even this Christmas season, would be strongly opposed by believers in secularism.
