Trump’s Motorcade Reportedly Stops At a ‘Random’ FL Strip Mall So He Could Buy Marble For His Ballroom Project

Minister Donald Trump He reportedly ordered his motorcade to stop at a mall in Florida on Friday morning so he could purchase supplies for the $400 million White House ballroom.
White House pool reports said the presidential motorcade “arrived at a mall in Lake Worth, Florida, at 9:46 a.m.” so Trump could go shopping at “Arc Stone & Tile,” an importer of Italian marble.
When pressed, a White House official said the president “bought lake and onyx for the White House ballroom at his own expense.”
Although he paid for the materials himself, the conservative publication New Republic pointed out He said the president was shopping with “taxpayers’ money” for the construction project.

Trump proudly shared photos of his Lincoln bathroom’s marble makeover, replete with gold hardware, and wrote on Truth Social in October that the “art deco green tile style” used in the 1940s was “completely inappropriate for the Age of Lincoln.”
“I did this with black and white polished sculptural marble,” Trump continued. “This was very appropriate for the time. Abraham Lincoln and it may actually be the marble that was originally there!”
Trump’s ballroom construction program came under fire soon after he began demolishing the entire East Wing of the White House. The president initially said the ballroom would cost about $200 million, then increased that to $400 million. Trump said the ballroom was entirely privately financed.
Trump is staying at his private club at Mar-a-Lago in Florida for New Year’s Eve celebrations. There he also met with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyand Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
