Newsmax was stopped today due to a breaking statement about US President Donald Trump. House Speaker Mike Johnson appeared on the show and warned that the Midterm humiliation could spark “the end of the Trump presidency.” Johnson told the audience: “He needs all four years, not just two, to sort out the mess, and that’s what we need. If we lose the midterm elections – God forbid. If we lose the majority in the House of Representatives, that would be the literal end of the Trump presidency, so we’ve got to keep it going and we’re excited to put our candidates on the field.” He added that the President needed a full term to “fix the mess” that he claimed he inherited from President Joe Biden, adding: “So we have to keep this going.”

Johnson’s warning comes as the US leader continues his slide in the polls and talk of invoking the 25th Amendment continues to gain momentum.

Many Democrats have called for the Amendment to be used to remove Trump from office. However, this could lead to impeachment and the slight removal of the President from office.

Johnson said earlier this week that Democrats who pressured Trump during the State of the Union were “bringing shame to their party and to themselves.”

“I mean, the quirks were pretty ugly,” Johnson said. “I got this close after hitting the gavel and getting them off the ground.

“But the president handled it very well. So I thought, let them flaunt it.”
