Santi Cazorla: Former Arsenal star ready for fairytale finish with Real Oviedo

Talking to jazzorla is a refreshing experience. He clearly loves the extra years he’s trying to win.
It was a journey to come here. In 2013, after a harmless stroke while playing against Chile against Spain, he endured ankle problems, but played for three years.
Until then, the pain was too much and there was a need for treatment, but he did not expect multiple operations with jazzor, one of whom destroys Achilles’ about 11 centimeters and caused almost an infection that cost him.
He softened the bone. An operation was the restructuring of surgeons that combine the skin of the preservatives from the left arm, including a tattoo of his daughter’s name.
Doctors explained that they should be pleased to walk again. Nevertheless, when asked how the conversation is, he remembers the challenge with the jazor who describes his ankle as “jigsaw”.
Im I have never believed in such things, or he says. “The injury was really hard. I was never honest to be injured, I thought it was a small one.”
Cazorla postponed the surgery until he could no longer be able to do it.
“In my career, not only in football, but the hardest moment in my life,” he adds. “Without my family, my wife and my children, but you should fight – if you have a dream, you have to fight every day.
“My wife, my children, my mother, my brother … I had to fight for them. As a person, it was a very difficult time for me.
“One day you are in Emirates to play and you are alone in the hospital after a week. It’s hard to control such emotions.”
Arsenal did not share Cazorla’s trust confidence.
They had renewed the contract once, but the artillery could not persuade him to make a new agreement in 2018, eventually returned to Villarreal for three years and added 86 more matches to his previous 233.
“When I started to feel better in a year and a half later, I came back and said, ‘Please give me the chance to do it before the season and asked for a year after you want to sign a year.’ ‘
“They told me that they feel that I wouldn’t go back to the highest level. It is normal when you go out for two years.
“I was very honest with them – give me a chance because I am ready again. They said no, and I have to understand this position.”
Nevertheless, he speaks compassionate about the artillery and is close to his captain Mikel Arteta at the Emirates Stadium. It is also open to a turn after retirement.
After that, there will be something in football, but he will evaluate the options of jazzorla.
“If Arsenal calls me, my door is open to listening to them because I love this club. Going to Arsenal was the best decision of my career.”
