Trump reports more than $2 billion income from crypto

US President Donald Trump reported making more than $US1.4 billion ($A2 billion) in revenue from his family’s crypto ventures in 2025, revealing he now earns most of his income from digital assets that benefit his policies.

Trump’s financial disclosures for 2025 with the US Office of Government Ethics showed he received more than US$500 million (A$723 million) from World Liberty Financial, a crypto startup he and his sons co-founded.

Trump reported making another US$635 million ($A918 million) from the sale of $TRUMP meme ⁠coins.

The president also reported revenues of over US$80 million ($116 million) from deals with various media companies and millions from his own company’s licensing of real estate developers abroad.

The disclosures provide new insight into the scale of the president’s family’s profits from its foray into cryptocurrencies.

Reuters had previously estimated that the Trump family had received at least US$2.3 billion ($3.3 billion) in profits from investors since Trump reassumed the presidency.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the applications.
