Tate Modern weekend opening hours to be extended

Tate photographyTate Modern announced that it will extend the opening hours at the weekend in autumn.
As of September 26, the London Art Gallery will be opened on Friday and Saturday evening until 21:00.
The movement aims to give more visitors the chance to visit young people, especially after work.
Since 2016, the movement follows the success of Tate Modern Lates, a series of curated evening events that welcomed more than 750,000 people.
Tate Modern is normally opened at 10:00 and closes at 18:00 every day and is free to enter.
“In the last decade, Tate Modern Lates has become the cornerstone of London’s nightlife among young London, especially in the last decade, Tate Modern Lates, especially in the last decade, especially the dynamic cultural scene of their cities.”
He said the late opening would make the gallery “even more accessible”.
The Mayor of London said the movement would help to strengthen London as “the cultural capital of the world, the best nightlife everywhere”.

Tate Modern Lates will continue even when long weekend hours come into force.
Activities are held at the end of each month with artist interviews, workshops, film screenings and live music.
This included the inheritance of British rapper Little Simz last August that 18,500 visitors participated in the curator exhibition and speech.
The next events in the Lates series are planned to be held on 28 August and 26 September.
