Sarah Ferguson under pressure to give evidence after ‘she asked Epstein to marry her’ | Royal | News

Sarah Ferguson is under pressure to testify about Jeffrey Epstein. The 66-year-old’s reputation is in tatters due to his connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Sarah was last included in the Epstein files, and the emails she shared with him were clearly visible in three million files. In an email dated September 17, 2009, Sarah told Epstein that he could marry a woman with a “great body” and that he could marry her. Sarah wrote: “You can marry him too. He’s single and [sic] great body”, then adds: “Okay marry me and then we’ll hire him”.

Congressman Suhas Subramanyam, a member of the House Oversight Committee investigating the handling of Epstein’s case, said Sarah should now consider testifying.

He said: “Sarah Ferguson should give evidence under oath to our committee.”

Although there was nothing to compel him to give evidence, he told the BBC that MPs would be “happy to find favorable terms for him” as long as he was under oath.

Democratic Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury also told the BBC: “If [Sarah] If Ferguson or any member of his family has such information, our responsibility is to follow the facts wherever they lead.

The family of Epstein’s victim, Virginia Guiffre, also shared that they “strongly believe” that Sarah should go to America to answer questions about her connection to Epstein.

A representative for Virginia’s brother Sky Roberts previously told Sky News: “If [Sarah] “If Ferguson knows anything, he must testify in the United States immediately.”

Virginia died by suicide last April.
