Sarah Ferguson’s hiding place ‘revealed’ as she takes refuge | Royal | News

As Andrew has been dragged into more controversy in recent weeks, Sarah Ferguson has allegedly applied to one of the world’s most expensive health clinics. According to reports, Fergie took refuge at the world-famous Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, over a month ago.

The former Duchess of York has not been seen in public since her brief appearance at the Christening of her granddaughter Athena at St James’s Palace on December 12, leading to global speculation about where she lives.

On Thursday, her ex-husband, Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He always denied wrongdoing and was not charged by the police.

A Swiss source said: Daily Mail: “Sarah went to Zurich just after Christmas and stayed there until the end of January.

“He always feels at home at Parcelsus and knows that he will receive love and care there, as well as expert healthcare treatment when he feels most vulnerable.”

Paracelsus clinic says: website: “We exist to create a healing place that will reconnect people to life, minds to bodies, and our loved ones with peace of mind.”

The website also reads: “No matter your last name, no matter what financial success you or your family have achieved, or how others perceive you, the pain is real and you deserve compassionate care and support to heal.”

The lakeside clinic offers several different months-long recovery programs for wealthy clients, charging around £24,000 for a three-day “thorough check-up”.

A friend of Sarah’s in Switzerland told the press: “Sarah built a strong relationship with Paracelsus, so this was the obvious place for her to get away from it all.”

Sarah’s entry comes from the emails in the final chapter of the Epstein files released by the Department of Justice; These emails reveal that the former duchess and her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor maintained a close friendship with the pedophile even after his first conviction.

The embarrassing emails showed her begging Epstein to help pay off her mounting debts. In 2009, following the collapse of a business venture, Sarah appears to have written to Epstein: “I need 20,000 pounds ($27,521) in rent urgently today. The landlord threatened to go to the papers if I didn’t pay. Any ideas in mind?”

In another email, she issued a humble apology for publicly condemning him, claiming it was merely to protect her career as a children’s book author, calling him a “loyal, generous, and superior friend.”

The fact that his name appears in the Epstein files does not prove any wrongdoing.
