Savannah Guthrie details horrifying moment she realized abducted mother Nancy, 84, had vanished

Savannah Guthrie has revealed harrowing new details of the moment she realized her 84-year-old mother Nancy had been kidnapped.

Speaking to Hoda Kotb on NBC Today on Thursday, Savannah said: ‘My sister called me and I said, ‘Is everything okay?’ and he said, ‘No, my mother is missing.’

Nancy was taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona, in the early hours of February 1 and has been missing since; A masked figure can be seen in front of his door when he was kidnapped.

Little information about the investigation has been made public by authorities in recent weeks. Investigators continue to review leads, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI said in a statement Wednesday.

The Guthrie family last weekend appealed to neighbors in Arizona to search back through their memories for anything that might help the investigation.
