SC Collegium Names Balaji Medamalli as APHC Judge

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Bench approved the proposal for appointment of a lawyer as Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court.

The Collegium, chaired by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, in its meeting on Wednesday, recommended the appointment of lawyer Balaji Medamalli as a judge of the Supreme Court.

“In its meeting held on January 28, 2026, the Supreme Court Collegium approved the recommendation for appointment of advocate Shri Balaji Medamalli, also known as M. Balaji, as Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court,” the Collegium said in its decision. The statement was included.
