SC Issues Notice to Centre, States on PIL Over ‘Detention’ of Bengali-Speaking Migrant Workers

New Delhi: On Thursday, the Supreme Court agreed to hear a pin claiming that Bengalial migratory workers were detained on suspicion of a citizen of Bangladesh.
However, a bench of Syria Kant and Joymalya Bagchi refused to pass any temporary order regarding the arrest and said that any order would have consequences, especially for people coming from the borders.
“This is the right to get information about bonafide from the starting situations of the states where migratory workers work, but it is between problems. He said.
Bhushan claimed that people have been harassed by states because they have spoken Bengali language and had documents in this language on a circular basis published by the Ministry of Interior (MHA).
