SCBA Supports Lawyer Strike, Says LG Notification Undermines Courts’ Sanctity

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) threw behind the lawyers who escaped from the police station before the courts before the courts.
Lawyers have been on the strike since Friday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor, who allowed the police to offer evidence of the police stations in the courts with the order of 13 August.
“The President and Executive Committee of the SCBA and the Executive Committee, published by LG and set the evidence of the police officers, noted the notification of 13 August,” published on Friday. He said.
SCBA strongly condemned the notification against the “arbitrary, illegal and natural justice principles”, because the association’s President Vikas Singh not only weakens the sanctity of the judicial process, but also endangered it.
The statement published by the association’s secretary Prague Baghel said that SCBA believes that the declaration greatly affected the fair administration of the judiciary and justice and that it is not in the biggest public interest.
“According to this, SCBA decides to record the most powerful condemnation of the declaration and urged the relevant officials to withdraw the notification for the benefit of justice and the rule of law.” He said.
On Thursday, all Delhi Regional Bar Associations decided to avoid work on 22 and 23 August to protest the notification.
Committee Secretary General Tarun Rana said the strike continued on Saturday.
