Scheme for citizens to obtain khata services from home launched by Karnataka CM

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the newly implemented e-Khata scheme of the Municipal Administration Department at Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi on December 18, enabling citizens to get khata services from the comfort of their homes.
In the programme, organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Municipal Administration and Belagavi City Corporation, symbolic appointment letters and house deeds were distributed to poura karmikas and the e-Khata handbook was published.
Urban Development and Town Planning Minister Byrathi Suresh said that 6,119 beneficiaries have been identified under the Gruha Bhagya Scheme, ₹326 crore has been released so far and 4,159 houses have been completed.
