Chris Hayes Slams Pam Bondi for ‘Trolling’ at Senate Hearing: ‘She’s Trump’s Lawyer, Not America’s’
Chris Hayes accused Pam Bondi of “trolling” senators during her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, saying the attorney general perfectly demonstrated that she represents President Trump, not the United States.
“The government’s best lawyer, Pam Bondi, went to Capitol Hill and showed the country why she might be the worst attorney general in the history of this country,” Hayes said on an MSNBC “All With Chris Hayes” episode on Tuesday.

After listing a number of examples where he felt Bondi had failed the country, Hayes said: “Bondi was supposed to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee in her first oversight hearing since becoming the nation’s chief legal officer, but instead she made clear what we’ve all come to assume—she’s Trump’s lawyer, not America’s.” management.”
“We have never seen an attorney general like Pam Bondi,” Hayes added.
Senators on Tuesday questioned Bondi about various actions of the Trump administration, including the Justice Department’s investigations and its handling of the Epstein files. Bondi refused to comment directly on some of the politician’s questions and deflected others, according to CBS News.
Hayes said his approach to responses was in line with the MAGA base.
“She did this in a textbook MAGA style, trolling Senators, dodging their questions with written insults and condescending comebacks toward elected officials who dared question her authority,” Hayes said of Bondi’s performance.
“Most of these questions weren’t even like, I caught Hayes asked after laughing. “‘What is the legal justification for this?'”
