The winner of Big Brother 2025 was announced during the reality show’s live finale on Friday night.

Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best presented the end of the seven-week series outside the spy house’s compound in West London.

The duo went live to announce that Richard Storry, who received the most votes from the public, was this year’s winner.

Richard, 60, who admits he almost never shows up for Big Brother, was visibly stunned by the news.

During their interview with AJ and Will, they revealed that Richard is the oldest winner in the show’s 25-year history.

Elsa finished the race in second place and left the Big Brother house to great applause from the audience.

Elsa finished the race in second place and left the Big Brother house to loud applause from the audience outside.

Fans flooded social media with comments such as: ‘How can anyone say Richard is boring after watching these highlights?! DESERVED WINNER’,

‘I’m so happy for Richard! Not because he needs it, but because he’s now the oldest winner of Big Brother ever!’,

‘This series was a real mix up for me but ended with a perfect winner. Congratulations Richard’,

‘Richard is such a worthy and deserving winner.’

During the finale, viewers watched as Tate placed sixth before AJ and Will announced Emily placed fifth.

It was later announced that farmer Cameron had placed fourth, before Jenny came third.

Tonight’s show also saw ITV officially confirm Big Brother will return for another series in 2026.

Applications are now open and potential housemates are being asked to attend the program next fall for up to eight weeks.

London composer and writer Richard may have been a late addition to the household, but he won the public’s heart with his reaction to evicted housemate Caroline’s behavior towards him.

Some of the insults leveled at Richard included the claim that Caroline was ‘boring’, and Caroline went so far as to compare him to Mr Bean in her exit interview, saying: ‘Richard isn’t funny.’

Richard had been the clear favorite to win the reality show for several weeks, with bookmakers cutting his odds to 1/5.

It was previously revealed how controversial housemate George was not invited to the live final after being evicted from the house.

George later broke his silence and accused the channel of ‘making his life miserable’ following his sacking.

Celebrity Big Brother is expected to return in the spring when the iconic house reopens for a new crop of famous faces.

ITV bosses asked him to leave after what they said were ‘repeated warnings’ about his ‘offensive behaviour’.
