Sea Eagles name former player as interim coach after Anthony Seibold sacking
The Sea Eagles have named former Manly playmaker Kieran Foran as interim head coach for the remainder of the 2026 season after it was revealed on Friday night that Anthony Seibold had been sacked.
Foran, who retired from rugby league with the Titans last year, played nine seasons for the Sea Eagles, first from 2009 to 2015, followed by the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
He was part of the 2011 premiership team alongside former captain Daly Cherry-Evans and also spent time with the Warriors, Eels, Bulldogs and Titans.
The Kiwi international is a commentator for Fox Sports and joined Seibold’s management as an assistant coach in 2025.
More to come.
