Search for missing snorkeler off Ledge Point continues after 32-year-old man disappeared on Thursday

Authorities continue to search for a missing snorkeller north of Perth.

The search for the 32-year-old man began around 15:00 on Thursday when he disappeared while diving off the coast of Ledge Point.

The search resumed on Friday morning with PolAir, two Lancelin Volunteer Maritime Rescue vessels, police divers and jet ski rescuers scouring the ocean near Lancelin.

An empty can was seen from the air on Thursday, but it is not known who the boat belongs to.

Police are also searching the beaches.
