Caitlyn Jenner begs Trump for help correcting the gender on her passport after trans policy change
Caitlyn Jenner announced that she wrote a letter directly to Donald Trump asking for help after the gender of her passport was changed back to male.
The 76-year-old former Olympian said her ID lists her gender as ‘M’, even though all her legal documents have been updated to reflect her transition.
‘Documentation is extremely important today. Jenner said you should show your ID, ID, ID every time you turn around. Tomi Lahren’s podcast.
‘So for someone in my position who has transitioned, I’ve worked very, very hard. I worked with a law firm to get everything down to my birth certificate changed from “M” to “F.”
‘All my documents were correct, my passport, my global initiative; ‘I’ve traveled the world,’ he continued, explaining that the problem arose after his passport expired and was renewed.
Jenner, a Trump supporter, said that she tried to fix the problem herself by sending official documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
‘I did everything,’ he said, adding that he sent a hard copy of the amended birth certificate by post. ‘And they sent it back, M, they didn’t replace it.’
This comes after Trump signed an executive order stating that only two genders will be recognized and that government-issued identification documents must reflect a person’s gender ‘at the time of birth’.

‘What do I do?’ he added. ‘This is a safety factor.’
After her attempts failed, Jenner said she appealed directly to Trump.
‘Two months ago I was at Mar-a-Lago, [and] “I wrote a letter to him explaining all this and how it affected me and many other people,” he said.
‘Unfortunately he wasn’t there that weekend. The Secret Service guy said he could get it to him, put it on his desk, etc.
‘I didn’t hear from him. He’s a little busy right now. ‘My gender marker doesn’t really matter in this, okay?’
Despite the situation, Jenner made it clear that she was not criticizing the president.
‘I don’t blame him in any way. “I love the man and I love what he does,” he said.
The issue arose after Trump signed an executive order on his first day back in office stating that the US would recognize only two genders – male and female.
‘Across the country, ideologues who deny the biological reality of gender are increasingly using legal and other socially coercive means to allow men to identify as women,’ the sect says. ‘This is wrong.’

Jenner said she wrote a letter to Trump after spending time at Mar-a-Lago, urging him to help.
Following the decision, the State Department suspended processing passport applications from Americans who wanted to change their gender marker.
Jenner said that he met all the conditions, but he still could not get his passport corrected.
Other high-profile transgender individuals have reported similar problems.
Euphoria star Hunter Schafer previously said that after he submitted the paperwork, his passport was changed to reflect his sex at birth instead of his gender identity.
According to the Williams Institute, an estimated 476,000 transgender adults in the United States do not have identification documents that accurately reflect their gender marker.
Mismatched identification can cause difficulties when traveling, going through security, or verifying identity in everyday situations.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
