Self-Defence Training For 500 Girls Mark Women’s Day

: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Kaarunya Helping Hands Foundation organized “Naari Shakti – Safe 369 Self Defense Training Programme” at Bishop Azaraiah School in Vijayawada and provided self-defense training to around 500 girls.
The program aimed to provide participants with practical techniques and awareness to ensure personal safety. Instructors demonstrated basic self-defense methods and conducted sessions to improve confidence, alertness and ability to react in difficult situations.
Among those present were company owner Nelibandla Balaswami; Dr Kodey Prabha Devi, senior gynecologist; Kandula Sarada Vani from SNG Foundation; Vasundara, president of Lions Club Vijayawada, with his team; and Damarla Sri Santhi, former council president of Lions Club International.
The guests who spoke at the meeting emphasized the importance of self-defense, self-confidence and awareness for women and girls, and appreciated the efforts of the foundation in organizing the program.
