Sen. Mitch McConnell falls on Capitol Hill, incident captured on video

Sen. Mitch McConnell was caught on video falling down on Capitol Hill on Thursday.
ETWN Capitol Hill Reporter Erik Rosales said the incident occurred in the basement of the Russell Senate Office Building.
The video shows McConnell He was walking down a hallway when a woman approached him and asked him a question about the activities of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
McConnell is then seen stumbling and falling to the ground. After being helped back to his feet, McConnell waves to the person filming the video and walks away.

“All is well; he went to vote at 1:30 p.m. to see if Democrats would decide to fund our nation’s defense priorities, and he’s ready to vote again,” a spokesperson for McConnell told Fox News Digital.

In February, the Kentucky Republican fell down a small staircase while leaving the Senate chamber following a confirmation vote for Housing and Urban Development secretary nominee Scott Turner.
