America needs a big healthy dose of cynicism to get over Trump

America’s democracy is disintegrated not only with Trump’s lies, but with the blind loyalty of his followers and the sarcastic indifference of those who stayed at home.
While watching the thousand-ategine as an Australian Embers The presidency still cannot understand that the Americans have re -chose Trump after the first disaster. America’s problem seems to be a mixture of too much cynicism mixed with adequate cynicism. What is necessary to correct this democratic crisis is the balance of healthy cynicism and confidence in each other to overcome Trump’s attack on democracy.
The group without sufficient cynicism is Trump voters, including cult -like maga movement. These people make up 49.8% of the people who vote and lack healthy cynicism doses about Trump.
As I wrote before, Trump’s supporters should not be misconduished as motivated to vote for Trump because of economic anxiety. In fact, the output polling data shows that the majority of the votes of the democrats are non -Christian, non -Christian, college -educated voters. Christians who are the college -trained and college trained and non -college trained for Trump for Trump.
Open, all critical thoughts of Trump’s voters – including the vast majority of white evangelical Christians – are willing to completely close all their critical thoughts, all cynicism, Trump’s complete and completely fraud, and its incompetence. It may come, it seems impossible to budding their loyalty.
This lack of cynicism is not more pronounced than the adoption of Trump voters and the lack of concern of the President’s open fraud.
Washington Post Trump made 30,573 false and misleading claims during his first presidency (I call them a lie). Trump supporters may argue that this actual control cannot be reliable, because it was realized by the “Fake Main News”. However, the mainstream journalism (Trump said this) and the relevant blind beliefs in Trump show that they cannot see a lie when they see one of their supporters.
Trump can say that the sky is green, and even if his supporters tell them that the sky is blue, they say. “Yes, Mr. President, today is very green”.
For example, Trump’s famous lie – Alternative truth – 2017 opening crowd is greater than the president Obama‘S. The photographs clearly showed that this was a fundamental lie. Nevertheless, Trump’s supporters, Trump’s republican colleagues or media allies, as they are confronted with lies, shoulder shake, whether in Fox News or in Fox News Elon Musk X.
Trump voters, despite the fraud, Trump’s loyalty to the agenda, all of them raise many questions about the lack of healthy cynicism. There is the question of why so many Americans willingly lie. We have all been trained for insecurity liars – when you know that someone probably lies to you, you learn that they cannot be trusted. Why is Trump different? When Trump lies, why not voters are betrayed? Do they care that they are manipulated, or are they enough to invalidate this concern to Trump?
It also raises the question of why many of the hottest maga members have focused backwards to adapt, approve and even fight for their open lies of Trump. This involves taking Trump’s lies to extreme ends, Lie HE Bikter He stole the 2020 election, which became motivated behind Capitol uprising – An attack on the heart of American democracy.
It just needs a little healthy choice to know that someone is not just a compelling liar, and that everything they say will be as wrong as the last thing they say. Nevertheless, the fine majority of voters feels like 49.8% of Trump re-chose after passing the first election campaign, the first period and all the teeth of the second election campaign. Indeed, they seem to have no cynicism in Trump or Republican party assessments, which he leads.
This lack of cynicism is a big problem for American democracy. When honesty is not important for anything, fraud is not a problem, controlling the truth is no longer important, and lies can choose you, democracy is clearly dysfunctional.
Nevertheless, there is another cynicism problem in American democracy that is equally problematic, probably more, and probably more.
In fact, those who are suitable for voting were the largest cohort affecting the 2024 US elections. With 64% participation, Trump voters made up 31.9% of their voting age, Kamala Harris Voters were 30.9%, third -party voters were slightly over, and those who did not vote became a net winner with 36%.
Of course, there are many Americans who will like to vote, but they are suppressed by their efforts to deprive the votes of minorities who vote for the Democrat. Nevertheless, most of those who do not vote prefer not to do it for their own cynical reasons.
Whatever happens reason for not votingThe perception that the “both sides ver are not important or voting voters are decisive in Donald Trump’s selection of Donald Trump. And ironicly, excessively humorous assessments that nothing will change when they vote, was not met with anything other than a bad change because they did not vote.
Although they do not want to admit, the appropriate voters who give up American democracy are responsible for Trump voters as well as Trump’s consequences.
While continuing to follow the emergence of American politics in absolute terror and destruction, I wonder if at least some of those who are not overly cynicals cannot rethink the next election election. I hope that by voting for collective goodness, they may think whether they want to use the only democratic power to better value the honesty in corruption, lies and inadequacy and vote to protect and celebrate American democracy.
Of course, a vote cannot correct everything. It requires a collective effort. This is all the purpose of democracy. It is not a person to make efforts to participate. It depends on all of them.
