Two people were killed and at least 18 others were injured when a truck crashed into a crowd at a crowded open-air market. Emergency services rushed to the city of Bucheon in South Korea’s Seoul metropolitan region on Thursday as the horrific crash occurred.

A Bucheon police official said the truck driver, reportedly in his 60s, was being questioned by police. Initial reports from Park Geum-cheon, an official at the Bucheon fire station, suggest that the truck initially reversed and hit pedestrians before traveling forward about 150 meters.
