Septic tank searched, mine shafts to be explored as police ramp up outback search for missing SA woman Trisha Graf

Police searching for missing South Australian woman Trisha Graf have scoured a septic tank near the woman’s last known whereabouts as they step up a desperate search in the outback.

Ms Graf was last seen in the early hours of December 12, 2025, at around 2am in the remote SA mining town of Andamooka.

His car was found about 10 hours later by friends who searched for him, but he was nowhere to be found.

Police investigating his disappearance last week resumed searches in the area.

On February 23, officers searched a septic tank on a property near his last known whereabouts but found no evidence.

Hazardous weather conditions limited search efforts until after the weekend, and investigators are now continuing the hunt.

This week they will turn their attention to searching for mine shafts near their home east of Andamooka.

On the night of her disappearance, Ms. Graf visited the Roxy Downs hotel and left shortly after 12:19 a.m. in her white 2012 Ford Territory with registration plate S254BCX.

He is known to have hit a kangaroo with his car a short time later near Andamooka County.

Ms Graf continued her journey and was last seen driving on Dunstan Drive at around 2am after visiting a friend in town.

His car was found on a dirt hill near Blue Dam, east of Andamooka.
