Juvenile Detained By Police Over Video Recording Of Women In Theatre Washroom

BENGALUR: A youth was detained by the Madiwala police of Bengaluru city for allegedly filming women in the toilet of a theatre. While the police seized the mobile phone used by the young man, the investigation continues.

Around 9.30 pm on Sunday, some women surrounded a youth at a theater hall within the limits of Madiwala police station and someone alerted the police control room about the disturbances in the theatre. The police arrived at the scene and encountered the allegation that the young man had recorded a secret video on his mobile phone.

The police rescued the child from the surrounding women and detained him. The police detained another suspect along with the young man. Police are looking for the other suspect involved in the incident.

Police calmed the agitated women and sent them home before filing a complaint about the filming. Police questioned theater staff about the incident. Madiwala police are continuing their investigation.
