The fake headline then showed messages allegedly sent between the pair. O’Neal began reading the message he allegedly sent to the singer.
“Damn baby, I’d keep your farts in a cologne bottle and spray them on me every day,” O’Neal read. “Just kidding. I’m Shaqs. What’s your name, baby? And Sabrina says, ‘I know who you are. You’re too famous to send me texts like that.’ Shaq: ‘I can’t get horny and ask that snow bunny cat for myself. You’re being rude for no reason. There’s no way you can handle Big Diesel. …”
O’Neal made it clear that he did not send such a message to Carpenter or anyone else.
“First of all, ladies, I’m saying Diesel has a lot more game than that,” he said.
O’Neal has been open about his love life, especially his past marriages.

“I had two perfect women and I ruined everything,” O’Neal said in 2023. “The first one was my baby mama, Arnetta, and then I met Shaunie, and Shaunie was a wonderful woman, too, and I blew it all.
“Yeah, you know, we were young and doing stupid things all the time. But the good thing about our relationship is that they forgave me and we have a good relationship now. But when you asked me about the perfect woman, I had two perfect women and I messed it up, you know, by being stupid.”
O’Neal then offered advice about some of the lessons he’s learned in his life.
“… The first thing you need to be is honest, be honest with yourself, and be honest with your partner,” he explained. “…I always tell my sons that when it comes to women, a man has three jobs: Protect, provide for and love.

“Some men may only offer two for whatever reason, but I’ll teach you how to offer all three. That’s what I try to do—and even though I don’t have a relationship with the women I let get away, I will always PPL: protect, provide, and love everything they take from me.”
