Two police constables from Chennai booked for abetment of suicide in Rajasthan

Two constables of the Chennai Police and three persons, including a businessman, have been arrested by the Rajasthan police on charges of abetment to suicide, police sources said on Friday.

Police constables attached to Madhavaram Prohibited Enforcement Wing – Shiva and Gopi – and a businessman Mahaveer Mehta allegedly threatened Vardaram alias Vinod (24), from Pali district of Rajasthan, that he would be involved in a theft case, following which he died by suicide.
