On Sunday, November 23, actress Adah Sharma faced a deep personal loss when her grandmother, affectionately known as “Paati”, passed away in the early hours of the morning at 5:30 am in Mumbai. Her grandmother was in poor health, having battled ulcerative colitis and diverticulitis for several weeks, which led to her being hospitalized for a month before leaving peacefully.

Adah, who shared an extraordinary bond with her grandmother, expressed her pain and love with a heartfelt message on social media. He posted a touching video montage full of vivid memories of Paati dancing and sharing joyful moments with her. Accompanying the video, Adah said, “Om shanti. This is how our paati (grandmother) wants to be remembered. Thank you to all the teachers and students of Kocha for always celebrating her. She passed away 3 days ago.”

Following this profound loss, Adah and her mother plan to hold a memorial service in their hometown of Kerala to commemorate her grandmother’s life and legacy. A source close to the family said, “Adah is closer to her grandmother than anyone else. She lives with her grandmother. Her grandmother was in hospital last month. Earlier this year, in August, Adah gave fans a live glimpse into her grandmother’s birthday celebrations. She shared a live video of Paati dancing joyfully with her friends and family, surrounded by love and music. At the gathering, they sang “Happy Birthday” and danced to popular songs like “Bareli Ke Bazaar Me” and “Sar Jo Tera Chakraye”, culminating in an intimate cake cutting ceremony.
