Shivamogga Airport To Be Upgraded For Round -The-Clock Operations

Bengaluru: Shivamogga, the first to be operated by the State Government in Karnataka through the industrial and infrastructure development company (KSIIDC) of the province of Karnataka (KSIIDC), completes the airport for two years and all of the airport is preparing for upgrading for food operations.

Due to the increase in demand for flight operations at Shivamogga Airport, large and medium -sized industries Minister MB Patil said that on Tuesday, the airport was upgraded for daytime operations, including the establishment of modern navigation aids in adverse weather conditions and at night to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

Shivamogga Airport has been operating two years ago, Patil said that the airport has been performing 2,400 flights with more than 1 passengers so far and that Indigo airlines operates more than 670 flights with approximately 31,500 passengers and then served more than 47,000 passengers. Patil said Spice Jet operates 530 flights with approximately 25,000 passengers.

Shivamogga Airport rapidly expanded the connection under the RCS-UDAN scheme, and said that the airport in Patil, Shivamogga has combined large destinations such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Tirupati and Goa.
